It is a fairly new branch of the business but has grown exponentially over the last year or so as our team and resource has grown and has now become a part of our everyday service. With over 20 years’ experience in the recruiting industry and across a range of sectors, our Recruitment Associate, Sarah, has sourced talent for some of Yorkshire’s largest and most successful businesses.
March 2020
We are all aware that the onset of the pandemic produced a saturated job market full of highly qualified and dedicated candidates and very few roles for them to fill. This was a difficult time for recruitment in general as there was hundreds, if not thousands, of disappointed applicants per job available.
January 2021
After a start/stop end of 2020 recruitment in an almost post-COVID world, it is clear that our clients are ready to step up their recruitment needs in order to return to “normal”. For many HR and Talent Acquisition professionals, this appeared to be a reset moment with business leaders looking at new positions and responsibilities. This could benefit their employees and organisations as a whole by championing employee well-being and how future-proofing their workforce with the right talent and skills could promote further success.
June 2021
Now that we are almost half way through 2021, we have seen a huge decrease in candidates to fill these new and exciting roles. This could be down to many factors such as losing many workers due to Brexit, flexibility and the fact many people have changed jobs in this time. For example, the hospitality industry has been one of the worst affected, many employees were forced to take on newly created roles as supermarket workers, warehouse staff or delivery drivers and have found that they are much happier in these new roles and therefore, will not be returning to their original industries.
Our Service
We are a relatively small business but in terms of providing recruitment, this makes our service personal, bespoke and focussed while allowing for a quick turnaround time. We don’t have a large scale database of out-dated candidates which we choose from. We use social media, market experience and local knowledge to identify, review and submit the best and most suitable client options for businesses to select from for each and every job we take on. We like to build a personal relationship with all of our clients initially to be confident we understand their needs and the needs of their business before we begin the project to get a clear sense of what they are looking for, ensuring an accurate and efficient recruitment process every time.

Since launching this service, we have had many positive reviews from clients and candidates. Candidates feedback that our service is given to an extremely high standard and that they were always aware of where they were in the process from our responses. This is important to applicants during the pandemic as being left in the lurch is not a good experience for anyone, especially when you are trying to manage a number of job applications at once.
